This study evaluates the influence of the four seasons and twelve months of the year on the micrometeorological variables of global solar radiation, air temperature, and relative air humidity in different protected environments for plant production. The protected environment types and the characteristics of the shade screen modify the indoor air temperature. This environment provides greater relative humidity. The plant environment in the production of Achachairu (Garcinia humilis) seedlings aims to obtain quality plants for orchards' formation. The present study aimed to evaluate reflective materials on benches and fruit seeds harvested from different plant positions to produce Achachairu seedlings. The reflective materials used under the cultivation benches were aluminum foil, "fake sequin" fabric, mirror, and tetra pak®. The study aimed to define the best conditions to conduct germination tests for Ormosia arborea seeds and assess the viability of seeds using the tetrazolium test. The germination tests were conducted at temperatures of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 °C and alternating temperatures of 20-30 °C, in the presence or absence of light. For the tetrazolium test, seeds were immersed in tetrazolium solution 0.075%, at 35 °C for three hours, and then the viability was evaluated. It was verified that the seeds did not present absolute photosensitivity. Effects of casing soil enrichment with soybean flour (SF) and iron (Fe) were explored on yield and quality of edible mushrooms inoculated with plant growth-promoting bacteria in a factorial experiment with four replications. Fe from Fe chelate source was applied at two levels of 0 (Fe0) and 500 mg L-1 (Fe500), SF at three levels of 0% (SF0), 1.5% (SF1.5), and 3% (SF3) of compost dry weight, and bacteria inoculation at two levels (non-inoculation and inoculation of mycelia with P. putida). Ocimum selloi is a plant used in traditional medicine as a tea; however, no studies have reported the biological activity of the aqueous extract of this plant. This study aimed to evaluate the cytotoxicity, genotoxicity, and mutagenicity of two concentrations of an aqueous extract prepared by infusion of leaves from O. selloi using the Allium cepa model. The O. selloi infusion contained 107.1 ± 1.27 mg GAE g-1. This study aimed to evaluate the quantitative and qualitative aspects of production in different populations of cotton cultivars. Ten cultivars were evaluated annually in four plant populations. A randomized block design with split plots and three replicates was used. The cultivars were placed in plots, and the plant populations were placed in the subplots.
